Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Birger International College will deliver the 12 units of the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management over 60 weeks.
The program is 20 hours per week plus 10 hours of additional classes to practice per term making it approximately 21 hours of study per week.

All training is delivered by face-to-face contact in classrooms on the Birger International College Campus for 20 hours per week over a period of 60 weeks. The course duration includes 52 weeks of full-time study and up to 8 weeks of holidays and breaks, including public holidays.
The delivery of this course is based on the principles of adult learning; participants will be given the opportunity to develop their knowledge and practice their skills by participating in all or some of the following delivery methods: face-to-face, structured, self-paced learning and online research.
Self-study hours must be allocated towards the various tasks such as research work, assignments, projects, reading notes and preparing for assessments.
To achieve a BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, a total of 12 units must be completed. This includes:

After achieving this qualification candidates may undertake:
Training and assessments are conducted in English. Applicants must possess sound written and spoken English skills. You will be required to complete a Language Literacy, Numeracy test paper as part of an enrolment interview.
Some assessment tasks are completed using a computer and internet, and it is recommended that students have these available before or at enrolment.
